You’ve served your country, now it’s our turn to serve you

Statement of Understanding

We are not the Florida State Department of Veterans Affairs, Federal VA employees, Veterans Service Organizations, or County Veterans Service Officers. These organizations provide services free of charge and do not request donations. Veterans Outreach Ministries has VA-accredited Agents and Attorneys to represent veterans. If you only need someone to file a claim without thorough research and development, we are not the right fit for you. The organizations above file VA claims for free. At Veterans Outreach Ministries, we operate on a donation-based model. Under Florida state law, we can charge for our services, but we rely on veterans to pay it forward for the next veteran, and donations are expected. The donation will be equivalent to three months' worth of the monthly increase in benefits received. For example, if your monthly benefits increase from $300 to $600 after our services, the $300 increase would be multiplied by three months, resulting in a $900 donation to us. While Florida law allows us to charge up to four months' worth of the increase, we choose to limit it to three months because we understand that veterans may need to cover additional costs, such as medical Nexus letters or telehealth services, to obtain the necessary medical documentation to support their claim. This contribution helps sustain our mission to support veterans. If your claim moves into the appeals process—whether through a Higher-Level Review using VA Form 20-0996, a Supplemental Claim using VA Form 20-0995, or a formal hearing before a Veterans Law Judge—our VA-accredited Agents and Attorneys are available to represent you. During appeals, they operate independently from our organization and will request a fee agreement of 20% of any past-due benefits awarded as a result of a successful appeal. This fee structure applies only to accredited representation during the appeals process. All donations are tax-deductible, and you acknowledge that you are not charged for filing any VA disability compensation claim 21-526 including filing initial claims. Our process takes time, but once we have your power of representation, we will promptly initiate your claim to secure your backpay date. Founded by Paul Bunn, who faced challenges with the VA after returning from Iraq, Veterans Outreach Ministries aims to assist veterans in navigating the benefits process through comprehensive medical research and development. If your claim requires an appeal, a Higher Level Review (Form 20-0996), Supplemental Claim (Form 20-0995), or a hearing before a Judge, our VA-accredited Agents and Attorneys can assist you. They will request a fee arrangement of 20% of past due benefits awarded after a successful appeal, which is independent of our organization, with no donations requested for appeals. Sincerely, Paul C. Bunn Veterans Outreach Ministries Jesus loves you, and we do too.
